I am an all-round IoT engineer. You will find me in PCB design, 3D design, embedded systems programming, reseach and development, and IoT Consultation. At Neverest, I have the opportunity to experience different sides of the IoT field.
I am open to taking on side projects in the IoT field. I have worked on various freelance projects that helped increase my experience in the field.
As an intern, I got the opportunity to explore the IoT field in its commercial side. I also got the opportunity to work on various projects that expanded my love for the field.
I lead and cordinate all activities for the She Code Africa Nairobi Community. As the lead, I want to make a difference in the tech ecosystem by providing content that could positively impact as many people as possible.
I wrote article for theSCA Nairobi community on technology and related topics.
I facilitate the organization of events such as meetups and seminars for the IoT Network Hub community in Kenya.
I volunteered to facilitate Internet of Things sessions in the GDSC JKUAT and help in coordinating all activities in relation.
The Lazy switch is a project targeting to convert manual light switches to smart contactless switches. This was the first full on personal IoT project I did. The 'Lazy' switch converts the manual switch to a contactless switch. The switch can be used in offices to prevent spread of germs, especially following the pandemic, through avoiding contact with the switch. The individual needs to bring their hands closer to the switch to activate it to turn on/off.
